Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an experienced outage planning leader to direct the scheduling for refueling and forced outages at a nuclear facility. You will drive the development of an optimized outage schedule and ensure readiness across departments, interfacing with Outage Coordinators, Nuclear Planners, Operations, and management.

You will lead teams, manage milestones and performance indicators, and foster continuous improvements with long-range outage planning (5-year plans).

Qualifications

7+ years of Nuclear power plant outage planning, project management or related power station experience.
Knowledge of software systems used for scheduling outages and strong planning/organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
RO or SRO license or certificate on a PWR is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead the planning and scheduling for refueling and forced outage activities to develop an excellent outage schedule.
Coordinate with Outage Coordinators, Nuclear Planners, Operations and Outage Schedulers to ensure readiness.
Communicate milestone status and readiness indicators to station personnel including managers.
Identify and implement outage improvements and develop 5-Year outage plans.
Provide day-to-day guidance to Outage Schedulers and Nuclear Planners during outages.
