Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an expert-level scheduler to manage planning, scheduling, and implementation of online weekly activities for a nuclear unit. You will coach the work management team, act as project manager for weekly schedules, and coordinate with coordinators, planners, schedulers, and PMs to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient work weeks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in operation and maintenance of power plant systems with nuclear focus.
• Equivalent substitutions may be used for education with years of experience.
• Knowledge of plant specifications and maintenance procedures.
• Experience with scheduling outages using company software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, mentors, and develops other members of the work management organization.
• Serves as the project manager for work week activities and oversees schedule implementation.
• Directs schedule development with coordinators, planners, schedulers, and project managers.
• Acts as a single point of contact for the assigned work week and coordinates activities.
• Evaluates emergent work, adjusts priorities, and integrates into the schedule.
• Supports outage schedules and ensures online schedule integration.
• Prepares viable work schedules and ensures manpower-loaded departments.
• Directs schedule execution to meet Work Management process indicators.
• Provides leadership for the target week process and accountability.
• Performs NRC-mandated maintenance risk reviews and analyzes performance data.
