Vistra Nuclear Operations is seeking a seasoned Outage Management professional to lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of refueling and forced outages. The role coordinates across maintenance, operations, engineering and support groups to ensure safety, reliability and on-time completion.

The position emphasizes lean process improvements and industry benchmarking to achieve top-decile outage performance while managing risk in a high-stakes nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in nuclear plant maintenance, operations or work management.
• SRO license or certification required.
• Project management and scheduling experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage station preparation, planning, and execution of refueling and forced outages.
• Manage outage milestones and coordinate with stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Develop and integrate outage schedules ensuring safety and reliability during short-duration refueling outages.
• Apply lean techniques to continuously improve outage processes and add value to plant, people, processes and equipment.
• Participate in industry benchmarking to maintain top decile outage performance.
