Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an experienced expert to manage planning, scheduling, and execution of online weekly maintenance for a nuclear unit. You will coach teams, act as project manager for weekly work, and coordinate across departments to ensure safe and efficient operation.

The role requires 7+ years in nuclear plant maintenance, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Travel and regulatory compliance are part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in the operation and maintenance of power plant systems and equipment.
• In lieu of a preferred Bachelor's degree, may substitute related Associate's degree and 9+ years of directly related experience or High School diploma/GED and 11+ years of directly related experience.
• Knowledge of plant specifications, methods and procedures for maintenance functions (mechanical, electrical, I&C, computer).
• Knowledge of company software and systems used for scheduling outages.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to foster cooperation and safety culture.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to develop viable work schedules and perform post-plan assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling, and implementation of online weekly scheduling for maintenance and modification of nuclear unit systems.
• Coach, mentor, and develop other members of the work management organization.
• Serve as the project manager for work week activities and manage schedule development and execution.
• Provide directions to coordinators, planners, schedulers, PMs, and support personnel for effective scheduling.
• Act as single point of contact to coordinate/align weekly activities and ensure compliance and safety.
• Evaluate emergent work, adjust priorities and risks, integrate into overall schedule.
• Support outage scheduling and online schedule integration.
• Direct schedule execution to meet Work Management KPIs and assign corrective actions.
• Provide overall management and communication of all work activities 24/7 for the target week.
• Perform NRC-mandated maintenance risk reviews and develop weekly performance analysis reports.
• Coordinate with departments to maximise weekly schedule efficiency.
• Assist in forced outage coordination and planned refuel outages.
