Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Licensed by the NYS DOH in Nuclear Medicine Radiology Technology.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic exams, positions and transfers patients, uses immobilization devices and selects technical factors.
• Upholds safety standards and assists physicians in administering media or procedures; may supervise areas as needed.
• May serve as acting supervisor in absence of senior technologist and contribute to teaching radiology students or staff.
