Job summary

Sargent & Lundy's Nuclear Power Group seeks engineers to design and assess nuclear power plant systems, including modification packages, drawings, engineering analyses, and procurement documents. You will review vendor bids and study options for plant modifications while interfacing with clients at office or plant sites.

Ideal candidates have a BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from ABET-accredited programs, 7+ years in the power industry, knowledge of relevant codes and

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• 7+ years of experience in the power industry.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review modification packages for nuclear power plants.
• Create functional mechanical drawings and drawings for plant systems.
• Perform engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment and study modification options.
• Develop engineering cost estimates and interface with clients at sites.
