Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Atlanta, GA seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with 10+ years of I&C design experience, including nuclear facilities. You will lead and support controls projects, interfacing with clients, and coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and structural teams.

A BS in engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required; PE is preferred. The role emphasizes technical execution, project management, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver safe, reliable control

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering from ABET accredited program.
10+ years of experience in I&C Design Engineering, with at least 5 years at a nuclear facility.
PE license is preferred.
Ability to clearly communicate both in speech and written formats.

Responsibilities

Lead and support small and large controls projects with a focus on technical execution and project management.
Interface with the client to ensure proper project execution and client satisfaction.
Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and studies for client requirements.
Manage resources/loading and develop estimates for task completion and budget development.
Support the development of proposals and prepare/ review diagrams and drawings for controls solutions.
Evaluate vendor bids from a technical perspective and witness FAT on behalf of the client.
