Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Nuclear Power Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in the United States. The role focuses on major process controls projects, including DCS/PLC systems, I&C design, and P&ID development for nuclear plants.

You will collaborate with clients, conduct site walkdowns, and mentor junior engineers. Qualified candidates will have a BS in engineering (ABET-accredited) and at least 5 years of design experience in process control systems, with nuclear plant

Formación

• BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems; experience in nuclear power plant control systems preferred.
• Experience with control system design including MV distribution and controls for equipment like turbines, pumps, and feedwater control.
• Experience with power plant instrumentation and I&C design for BWR or PWR reactors, including DCS for turbine, control, feedwater, and data displays.
• Ability to review design drawings and mentor junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Work on major process controls engineering projects for digital systems and instrumentation.
• Attend client meetings and perform site walkdowns to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced nuclear instrumentation and controls design engineers.
• Support station outage activities as required.
• Develop P&ID’s and System Design Descriptions.
