Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the United States is seeking an experienced electrical engineering leader to guide a group on challenging projects, including investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide range of electrical engineering issues for nuclear power plants. The role involves multi-discipline interface and client coordination to deliver high-quality results.

You will develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules, oversee engineering change packages, mentor the team, and ensure on-time

Qualifications

• BSEE degree from ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 12+ years designing electrical systems for nuclear power plants.
• 3+ years leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project.

Responsibilities

• Lead group members to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering deliverables within scope, budget, and client expectations.
• Define deliverables and review progress, coordinating multi-discipline interfaces.
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants.
• Provide technical oversight for design change packages, calculations, equipment specs, and bid reviews.
• Interface with the client to validate scope and ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide the development of the group, pursuing strategic opportunities.
