Job summary

Electrical Components International (ECI) in Foxborough, MA is seeking an NPI Manufacturing Engineer to drive the transition of new wire and cable assembly products from development into full production within a contract manufacturing environment.

You will lead NPI processes, collaborate with product design, quality, and supply chain teams, develop validation plans, and optimize manufacturing flows, ergonomics, and cost while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
Strong communication skills; able to collaborate across functions.
Experience with NPIs, transfers, product launches and production ramp-up.
Familiar with ISO/IATF and other regulatory standards.
Cross-functional project management experience.
Experience in wire harness or cable assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the introduction of new wire and cable assembly products into manufacturing.
Collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to develop manufacturable products.
Develop and execute validation and qualification plans for new processes/equipment.
Define SOPs and work instructions for new products and processes.
Provide technical support and drive corrective actions in production.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
