Job summary

Electrical Components International (ECI) in Foxborough, MA is hiring an experienced NPI Manufacturing Engineer to lead the transition of new wire and cable assemblies from development to full production. You will ensure manufacturability and drive NPI processes across design, quality, and supply chain teams.

The role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and is on-site at the Foxborough facility, focusing on optimizing wire processing, assembly, and automation where feasible while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
Proven ability to manage technical projects for harness products.
Experience with NPIs, prototypes, and production ramp-up.
Familiar with ISO/IATF quality systems and regulatory requirements.
Strong cost control and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

Lead transfer of new wire and cable products into manufacturing from prototype to full production.
Collaborate with design, quality and supply chain to ensure manufacturability.
Develop validation plans and SOPs for new processes and equipment.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
