Job summary

Amphenol EEC, Inc. seeks an experienced Manufacturing/NPI Engineer to bridge design and production for harsh environment connectors, cables, and harnesses. You will lead DFMA, process development, tooling, and validation to ensure reliable, scalable launches.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, creating routings and BOMs, coordinating prototypes, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes and ECO management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline relevant to manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5 years in connector manufacturing or similar industrial production.
  • Experience supporting NPI from concept to production.
  • ISO 9001 knowledge and IPC/WHMA-A-620 preferred.
  • CAD tooling experience in SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead NPI from engineering release to production launch.
  • Review drawings/specs for manufacturability and cost.
  • Develop scalable manufacturing processes and routings.
  • Create BOMs, process docs, work instructions, PFMEAs.
  • Coordinate prototypes, pilot runs, and ECOs.
  • Drive Lean improvements and participate in design reviews.
