Job summary

Electrical Components International (ECI) in Norwood, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specs and quality standards. You will support new product introductions and daily production operations.

You will train operators, work with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring ISO/QS9000 compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer (preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical manufacturing; harness fabrication experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD and Inventor) and MS Office.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes and production line setups.
• Train operators on tooling, fixtures, jigs, and assembly processes.
• Drive cost-reduction and efficiency through process improvements.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/QS9000, safety, and environmental regulations.
