Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a Technical Program Manager for hardware NPI in San Francisco. You will own the program schedule, run risk and dependency management, and lead cross-functional teams through stage gates to rate production.

You will build robust program schedules, facilitate gate reviews, and broker escalations to keep long-lead components on track. A strong engineering background and proven decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hardware NPI program management from kickoff through stage gates to rate production.
• Engineering degree required.
• Experience making hard decisions to cut scope, slip dates, or spend to recover.
• Experience handling DVT-stage component changes with 20-week lead times.
• Ability to track risk across 5+ workstreams with appropriate tooling and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own the program schedule, stage gates, and cross-functional execution for a product family from kickoff through rate production.
• Run risk and dependency management across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain with proactive data-driven decisions.
• Facilitate gate reviews and readiness scoring; enforce critical path decisions.
• Broker escalations and decisions between engineering and delivery to keep long-lead items on track.
• Build program schedules that remain robust under uncertainty with explicit assumptions and dates.
