Job summary

Lightmatter, Inc. is hiring a Sr Staff Technical Program Manager to drive program execution across the Hardware Systems team. You will manage schedules, resource planning, dependencies, and cross‑functional alignment for electrical, mechanical, and system engineering.

This hands‑on leadership role requires partnering with SI, PI, SW, supply chain, and external partners to keep programs on track from design through production, including budgeting and status updates to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of program management experience in hardware engineering.
• Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs.
• Hands-on with material flow, BOM management, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated HW Systems schedules across concurrent projects and resources.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between HW Systems and other teams; set agendas and capture decisions.
• Manage resource loading, capacity visibility, and risk with engineering leads.
• Build and maintain schedules reflecting EVT/DVT/PVT gates and cross‑team dependencies.
• Coordinate material flow and ensure critical materials land on schedule.
• Track deliverables and keep downstream teams unblocked with up-to-date HW status.
• Interface with external manufacturers and fabrication partners; drive technical alignment and issue resolution.
• Represent HW Systems in program reviews and planning cadences; communicate changes and needs clearly.
