Job summary

Therabody, a leading wellness tech company, seeks a highly organized Senior Project Manager for its Product Development team. You will lead cross-functional execution of New Product Introduction programs across the product lifecycle, reporting to the Chief Product Development Officer.

The role requires coordinating Engineering, Product Management, Design, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and other functions to deliver innovative wellness technology on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business, Product Development or related field.
• 10+ years of project management in consumer electronics, medical devices, wellness technology, consumer products, or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI) or product development programs.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, stage-gate processes, and commercialization activities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience within a high-growth consumer technology, health technology, or wellness brand is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, from concept development through product launch and post-launch support.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across Product Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, stage-gate reviews, and executive status updates.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to minimize schedule, cost, and quality impacts.
• Monitor project progress against key deliverables and escalate issues appropriately to leadership.
• Coordinate launch readiness activities, ensuring all functions are prepared for successful product commercialization.
• Support portfolio planning, resource allocation, and prioritization efforts within the Product Development organization.
• Establish and improve project management processes, tools, templates, and governance practices to increase organizational effectiveness.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and communications for leadership stakeholders.
• Manage special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Chief Product Development Officer.
