Job summary

SarelaTech seeks a Sr. Network & Systems Engineer to provide advanced engineering, strategic systems analysis, and operational oversight for a DoW contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role supports enterprise IT services across CONUS/OCONUS locations with TS/SCI clearance.

Expect shifts 0600–1800 or 1800–0600, serving as primary technical authority for network, server, storage, and security. You will interface with mission partners and leadership on risks, vulnerabilities, and operational impacts.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field with 8–12 years of experience, or a master's with 6–10 years.
• Advanced, theoretical and practical understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls) and storage networks.
• Proficiency in enterprise monitoring suites (SolarWinds), AD architecture, and ITSM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Systems analysis, architecture, and operational leadership to guide DTRA leadership and partners.
• Document, test, and modify network/server configurations and security baselines.
• Lead NOSC watch duties and act as escalation authority for complex outages.
