Job summary

Heartview Foundation is seeking a controller-level professional to lead the Accounting Department in Bismarck, ND. You will oversee the general ledger, financial close, reporting, internal controls, and audit preparation, partnering with leadership to strengthen budgeting and cost accounting.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field is required.
• Five years of progressively responsible accounting experience; nonprofit or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience leading accounting staff and processes is required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and comply with drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounting Department.
• Manage financial close and reporting.
• Maintain accounting systems and internal controls.
