Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer II to support the Joint Fires Network (JFN) NOC for the GSMO-II program at Ford Island, HI. This role involves real-time operations and circuit redesign to ensure maximum mission availability in a DISA DGOC environment.

The position requires a DoD Top Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, and familiarity with IP/Transport architectures. Hawaii COLA may apply, and a 24x7 schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or equivalent
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required
• Willing to work a 24x7 shift schedule
• Knowledge of transport and IP network topologies beneficial

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across routers and switches
• Perform real-time circuit redesign to restore connectivity during outages
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and agencies to maximize network availability
• Monitor network alarms using platform management tools and document incidents
• Perform change management tasks including hardware replacement and software configurations
• Leverage knowledge of routers, switches, crypto devices, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, MPLS, SDH/SONET to resolve issues
