Job summary

Leidos is seeking a NOC Technician to support the JFN network operations at Scott AFB, IL or Ford Island, HI. The role focuses on incident management, real-time monitoring, and rapid fault resolution in a 24/7 environment.

Qualified candidates will hold a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, plus 3–5 years of related experience in network operations and security. The position includes a competitive pay rate and benefits under Leidos.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in network operations.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, performance management.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow ITSM+ and JIRA; triage ticket queue and guide tickets.
• Monitor network events 24/7; analyze alarms, identify impacts, isolate root causes and coordinate fixes.
• Notify contacts about incidents; provide situational awareness to leadership and teams.
• Support fault isolation and troubleshooting; test and diagnose network issues; coordinate with providers.
• Restore networks and services; ensure SLA compliance; document changes in CMDB; provide 24/7 support.
• Assist in training Network controllers; evaluate SOPs and tools; support DISN-related projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DISN functions and provide advanced technical guidance to peers and customers.
