Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking a Senior Networking Systems Engineer to provide pre-sales technical leadership across Western Pennsylvania. This role partners with Territory Managers to align Aruba Networking solutions with customer objectives and technical requirements, while traveling to client sites as needed.

The candidate will advise customers on campus, branch, wireless, switching, security, and network management solutions and will build trusted relationships with IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in networking, systems engineering, consulting, or pre-sales roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including wired/wireless, campus/branch architectures, routing and switching, network security, and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle from discovery to deal closure.
• Partner with Territory Managers to identify opportunities and develop account strategies.
• Deliver presentations, demos, workshops, and proofs-of-concept to customers.
• Design networking solutions addressing business and technical requirements.
• Act as SME for campus/branch networks, wireless, switching, security, and management.
