Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer for HPE Networking to drive technical wins with a Territory Manager in Nebraska. The role is remote/teleworker with occasional on-site visits across Nebraska, including enterprise accounts.

You’ll blend deep networking expertise with consultative selling to modernize networks, design multi-portfolio solutions, and demonstrate value during POCs and customer engagements. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

5+ years in a manufacturer or partner Sales Engineer role or 5+ years as a Network Engineer/Architect.
5+ years of WIFI, networking protocols, SD-WAN, switching (L2/L3) and LAN Security tech.
5+ years of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN).
5+ years of security protocols (NGFW concepts, policy, SSE/SASE) and network management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Own the technical strategy for assigned accounts and opportunities across the full HPE Networking portfolio.
Deliver compelling technical engagements (in-person and virtual): product presentations and demos.
Design and document solutions mapping to customer requirements including multi-portfolio offerings.
Own white glove proofs of concepts and evaluations demonstrating value.
Win in competitive deals by understanding offerings and differentiators.
Collaborate cross-functionally with partners, product marketing and engineering.
Enable and grow through the channel by building relationships with partners.
Be present in the community through meetups and events representing HPE Networking.
Secure the technical win and build long-term customer trust through clear communication.
