Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in Illinois seeks a Network Operations professional to provide 24x7 support for ICE’s global production network. You will perform incident, problem, and change management, coordinate with Engineering, and drive operational readiness for new services.

Weekend and off-hours support is required with strong customer service and teamwork to ensure service reliability. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field and CCNA/JNCIA or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience or equivalent credentials.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and TCP/IP.
• Superior customer service skills including verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment; weekend and off-hours support required.
• JNCIA, CCNA, or equivalent knowledge preferred.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of multicast and troubleshooting techniques.
• Working knowledge of how to use management tools.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Proactive checkouts and monitoring to avoid outages or limit impact, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
• Problem Management: Develop root cause flow charts and procedures to streamline fault isolation.
• Operational Readiness for New Services: Complete checklists for pre-production deployment and ensure dependencies and recovery procedures are understood.
• Change Management Planning and Configuration Implementation: Coordinate changes at the CAB and support engineering tasks.
• Service Requests, Network Maintenance, and Operational Support: Execute analysis/support requests and coordinate proactive maintenance.
