Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Network Engineer Senior – TS/SCI for critical government, defense, and intelligence projects in Charlottesville, VA. You will install, configure, and support LAN/WAN and related systems, supervise other engineers, and drive security and integration initiatives to meet mission needs.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD contracting experience, and strong design, leadership, and troubleshooting skills across complex networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI + Polygraph.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Certification.
• CCNA to start and CCNP within 180 days; CCNP preferred day one.
• Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, voice and video, and advanced troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and support of LAN, WAN, intranet, and other network segments.
• Maintain network hardware/software and monitor availability for all users.
• Lead and mentor junior/mid-level network engineers and oversee security measures.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security and integration projects.
• Develop network designs, configurations, and architecture documentation.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex network problems.
