Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Network Computer Systems Administrator to maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure and secure remote access. You will design new network environments, configure routing protocols, and manage firewall platforms while enforcing DoD baselines. Strong troubleshooting and DoD/STIG compliance are required.

Location is on-site in Washington, DC with a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance preferred. You will collaborate with engineering teams and mentor staff as needed.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II level certification or higher.
• CCNA minimum; CCNP preferred.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Design and build new network environments with topology and architecture planning.
• Configure dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, RIP, BGP).
• Manage firewall platforms and security baselines across infrastructure.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex connectivity issues.
