General Dynamics Information Technology in Quantico, VA is seeking a Network Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to support NCIS operations. You will provide technical oversight, design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions across multi-vendor environments.

The role requires 8+ years of related experience, specialized networking expertise, and Cisco/firewall proficiency. This onsite position offers a two‑week rotation shift and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years of network experience with 3+ years in specialized networking.
• Experience across multi-vendor IP backbones and multi-protocol networks.
• Proficient with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, and Cisco security devices.
• Firewall management with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Forcepoint, and Juniper.
• Cisco router/switch expertise including 4500/6500/ASR1000 & Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network incidents.
• Perform end‑to‑end network tests, diagnostics and optimization.
• Monitor network performance, traffic patterns and interfaces.
• Plan, install, troubleshoot and maintain data center network systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades and security.
