Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Engineer 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. The role centers on designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining cyber-physical networks for federal, local, and commercial customers, with a focus on security and reliability.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/CS/IT and 5+ years of progressive network experience, including ITIL concepts and security awareness. On-site top-tier facility work and 24/7 support are expected.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering/IT with 5+ years progressive experience in network environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and security implications for networks.
• Ability to design, configure, and maintain complex network systems.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurements summarized for senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services and devices.
• Develop network designs and prepare design documents for projects.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and system integration.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and support 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Prepare cost estimates and participate in bids/proposals.
