Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Specialist 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

You will design, install, configure, and maintain network services across federal, local, and commercial customers, ensuring secure and reliable operations. You will work with field engineers on performance, assist in security issue resolution, and support design documents and test procedures while adhering to DoD security requirements and ITIL principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 12+ years of installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems.
• Associates degree with 10+ years experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years experience.
• Master's Degree with 5+ years experience

Responsibilities

• Survey reports measurement results in actionable form.
• Conduct surveys, inspections, tours of client sites as required.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Work with field engineers to simulate performance and provide feedback.
• Assist senior network engineers to identify and resolve network security issues.
• Support network designs for each SLA classification.
• Prepare designs, including narrative and subsystem designs, and QA/QC reviews.
• Commissioning of deployed systems and testing procedures.
• Develop test fixtures and PITCO plans and procedures.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
