Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Network Engineer 5 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

This role supports the US Air Force Education and Training Center with design, integration, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise networks and security solutions across federal and commercial customers. The position requires a Bachelor’s in engineering/CS/IT and 10+ years of progressive experience, plus active SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, IT or related discipline.
• 10+ years progressive experience in network engineering and programs.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurements for senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop network designs for SLA classifications; prepare design documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues; assist in upgrades and QA/QC.
• Prepare test plans and procedures; perform system integration testing.
• Support 24/7 on-call schedule; backups for team members.
