Job summary

M.C. Dean, Building Intelligence, seeks a Network Engineer within the SES unit to design, implement, and sustain advanced security and IT networks for federal, local, and commercial clients.

You will work with field engineers and senior staff on design, integration, and maintenance across cyber-physical systems. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of progressive experience, with strong ITIL knowledge and network security focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline plus 7+ years of progressive experience.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL concepts and network security considerations.
• Experience designing network infrastructure and services; familiarity with cybersecurity STIG applications and audits.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports: translate results for senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Design network solutions and prepare design documents for small and large projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC and test plans for safety, risk, and manufacturability assessments.
• Prepare and review test reports; assist in commissioning and deployment of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems; provide on-call support.
• Prepare cost estimates and supporting documents for projects.
• Collaborate across disciplines to define interfaces and work packages.
