M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Specialist 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role involves designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security networks for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Requires a DoD Secret clearance and a Bachelor's in a related field with 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities include survey reporting, reviewing LAN/WAN designs, and developing high-level architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT or related field with 2+ years of progressive experience.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts and network security implications.
• Experience with network design, testing, and implementation.
• Ability to read schematics and develop architecture diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurements for senior staff.
• Review and analyze existing LAN/WAN designs and conditions.
• Develop high level network architectures (OV-1/OV-2).
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and security architectures.
• Perform QA/QC and testing of designs and implementations.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed.
