Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a Network Engineer 5 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit supporting the US Air Force Education and Training Center. You will design, install, and maintain complex networks, ensuring security and reliability for federal customers.

The role requires an ACTIVE SECRET clearance, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 10+ years of progressive experience. Expect collaboration with field engineers and 24/7 on-call support within a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology or related field, plus 10+ years progressive experience.
• Active SECRET clearance required for access to classified information.
• Strong knowledge of network concepts, security, and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurement results for senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services and devices.
• Designs and implements network solutions for SLAs; supports test plans and commissioning.
• Toubleshoot network problems and provide operational improvements.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call readiness and participate in maintenance activities.
