Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a DoD customer in the Washington DC metro area. You will join an elite team to design, implement, and secure complex networks across locations.

Responsibilities include integrating compute, storage, security, and cloud access; mentoring staff; designing firewall policies; VPNs; and troubleshooting incidents.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, CCNA; CCNP is preferred, and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant network engineering experience as stated.
• Experience with firewall hardening and security best practices.
• CCNA certification required; DoD clearance or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate compute, storage, security, and cloud access into network architectures.
• Mentor junior staff in network engineering and design.

• Design, maintain, update, and document VPN connectivity with partners and vendors.
