Job summary

Leidos in Laurel, MD is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize mission networks in a secure on-site environment. You will lead engineering across architecture, integration, and sustainment for complex network and telecommunications systems.

Qualifications include 15+ years, CCNP, TS/SCI with poly, and experience with BGP, IPsec, NAT, firewalls, and enterprise networking. The role emphasizes technical leadership and collaboration with NOCs and mission partners.

Qualifications

Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Network Engineer on programs/contracts of similar scope.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; five (5) years may substitute for the degree.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and ability to work full-time on site in a secure mission environment.
Current CCNP certification or equivalent.
Experience designing, configuring, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex network environments.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer & deploy mission networks with routing, IPsec, NAT, and security considerations.
Operate, secure & optimize network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices.
Troubleshoot complex network incidents, analyze logs and performance, implement fixes and patches.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with NOCs and external teams.
