Job summary

Impact Networking, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the MIT organization within Service Operations. You will handle network incidents, triage issues, and coordinate with vendors to restore services across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.

The role emphasizes world-class customer support, proactive monitoring, and collaboration with internal teams. Relevant Cisco/FortiGate/SonicWall/Palo Alto experience is required with ITIL processes and strong communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production support for an enterprise or MSP environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer support for Impact Networking customer environments.
• Manage network incidents through restoration, resolution, and closure.
• Monitor and verify alarms across remote locations and collaborate with teams and vendors.
• Perform network configuration changes and root cause analysis for client issues.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
