Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to maintain stability, performance, and security of our healthcare network infrastructure. You will manage outages, deploy new hardware, and troubleshoot complex network problems across Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms.

The role requires CCNA certification, an associate degree or equivalent training, and 5+ years of IT experience in healthcare. Travel up to 10% is expected for deployments and projects.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree or equivalent training is required.
• Active CCNA certification is required.
• 5+ years in information systems, preferably healthcare.
• 3+ years hands-on Cisco/Fortinet networking experience.
• Experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain network stability, performance, and security.
• Respond to outages and deploy new hardware quickly.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN across Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet platforms.
• Document network diagrams, configurations, and changes.
• Collaborate with IT teams on multi-component issues.
• Configure routing and switching features on Cisco/Fortinet gear.
• Assist in WAN circuit activation and change management.
• Work with security team to mitigate threats.
• Travel up to 10% per year for deployments.
