Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent technical training.
• Active CCNA certification.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Systems, preferably in healthcare.
• 3+ years hands-on networking with Cisco and/or Fortinet products.
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring LAN infrastructures and related protocols.
• Experience troubleshooting WAN infrastructures and routing protocols.
• Experience with AAA and TACACS+.
• Ability to travel up to 10% per year for deployments.
• Strong ownership, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains stability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.
• Responds to outages, deploying new hardware, and troubleshooting complex problems.
• Uses monitoring tools to preempt bottlenecks and security risks.
• Collaborates with IT teams to resolve cross-component issues.
• Keeps network diagrams, configurations, and documentation up to date.
• Troubleshoots LAN/WAN on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms.
• Configures switching and routing platforms (Cisco 3750x/9200/9300, Nexus, Fortiswitch, Fortigate, Meraki).
• Installs network hardware and activates leased WAN circuits.
• Participates in team and project meetings; creates and reviews change scripts.
• Works with security team to mitigate active threats.
