Job summary

TidalHealth is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support a large-scale healthcare network spanning multiple hospitals and 90 ambulatory sites. You will handle routing, switching, data center infrastructure, WAN, wireless, firewalls and UC in a regulated setting.

Seven years of enterprise experience and Cisco expertise are required, with preferred CCNP/CCIE certs and familiarity with Nexus/ACI, cloud networking, and ITIL practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Cisco CCNP or CCIE preferred.
• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking in large environments.
• Experience with Cisco data center products (Nexus, ACI) preferred.
• Cloud networking (AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Experience with security products, especially firewalls.
• Experience in healthcare IT environments preferred.
• Familiarity with network automation, monitoring tools, and ITIL practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize and support a large-scale healthcare network.
• Provide expert-level support for routed and switched networks, data centers, WAN, wireless, firewalls, and UC.
• Ensure high availability, security and performance in a regulated healthcare setting.
• Manage networks across multiple hospitals, sites and data centers within a 90-mile radius.
