Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Network Engineer to maintain stability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will handle outages, deploy new hardware, and troubleshoot complex issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires CCNA, 5+ years in information systems (healthcare preferred), and hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet platforms.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Systems or equivalent technical training.
Active CCNA certification.
5+ years in information systems, healthcare industry preferred.
3+ years hands-on networking with Cisco/Fortinet products.
Experience troubleshooting LAN infrastructures and WAN infrastructures.
Experience with SNMP monitoring and logging.

Responsibilities

Monitor network performance and security; proactively identify bottlenecks and outages.
Respond to incidents, investigate root causes, and implement fixes.
Collaborate with IT teams on cross-system issues.
Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and documentation.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN on Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet platforms.
Configure routing and switching hardware (Cisco 3750x/9200/9300, Nexus, Fortiswitch).
Configure routing platforms (ASR/ISR, Fortigate, Meraki).
Install network hardware and activate leased WAN circuits.
Participate in team and project meetings; review change scripts.
Work with security teams to mitigate active threats.
