Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Engineering or related field required.
• Deep knowledge of general network principles for mission-critical environments.
• Extensive BGP/OSPF routing and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with L2/L3 VLANs and Spanning Tree development.
• Strong NAT, route maps/ACLs and routing policies knowledge.
• Proficient with modern configuration management tools (Ansible, Jinja, JSON).
• Strong Python development skills and Git for version control.
• 3+ years' hands-on production network support and design/implementation.
• Experience analyzing sniffers/traces and deep TCP/IP understanding.
• Basic Unix/Linux system administration.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Customer service mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support and maintain mixed vendor network infrastructure.
• Document and publish standards and designs.
• Assist ICE staff with problem solving and escalation procedures.
• Adhere to operational policies and promote compliance.
• Provide technical knowledge for safe, effective network changes.
• Collaborate with all IT teams and stakeholders.
• Lead incident investigations, diagnosis and service restoration with priority on resolution.
