Qualifications

• BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or Masters with 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI level security clearance, eligible for CI Poly.
• IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Ability to translate highly technical matter to non-technical audience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in WAN/LAN, VPN, and network architecture.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and AWS networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for network integration and consolidation across multiple environments.
• Prepare and review technical implementation plans with milestones and critical paths.
• Address and resolve issues related to installation and upgrades of network hardware and systems.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and staff to analyze requirements (e.g., new circuits).
• Develop and document technical briefings, engineering standards, SOPs, and status reports for leadership.
• Participate in development of network architecture, designs, and changes.
• Evaluate current and emerging technologies; conduct assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate with partners to de-conflict efforts and drive efficiency and operability.
• Communicate with customers on matters of significance and complete projects.
