Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Arlington, VA, to design, migrate, implement, and maintain infrastructure for the CESO program. This on-site role requires a TS/SCI clearance and CI poly eligibility, with experience across WAN/LAN, VPN, and secure network solutions.

You will collaborate with DISA and DHS partners to deliver integrated network architectures, configure Cisco/Palo Alto devices, and support cloud/network transitions in a DoD environment. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• IAT Level II Baseline Certification required (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC).
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Experience with Cisco/HW networks, VPNs, WAN/LAN architectures, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for network integration across environments.
• Prepare and review implementation plans with milestones and critical paths.
• Resolve issues related to network hardware and software upgrades.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and technical staff to analyze requirements.
• Develop network designs and engineering standards; present to leadership.
• Collaborate on architecture changes and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with partners to improve efficiency and operability.
• Communicate with customers on matters of significance.
