Job summary

Leidos in Arlington, VA seeks a Principal Engineer / Technical Lead to drive CESO migration to a high-security cloud. You will shape secure web services and oversee Agile delivery across teams, ensuring reliability and security in a mission-critical DISA program.

As a senior technical authority, you will establish standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and operations to align roadmaps with security goals and customer needs on site in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• BA and 12+ years of experience; degree may be waived with experience.
• Proven track record of leading multiple teams and delivering complex software systems.
• Hands-on full SDLC Agile software development experience, incl. deployment to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of secure APIs and data pipelines.
• Define and drive long-term technical strategy and architectural direction across teams.
• Oversee design and delivery of scalable, secure software solutions.
• Champion engineering excellence, including automated testing, CI/CD and security.
• Lead, manage, and develop senior engineers and technical teams.
