Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6)+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• US citizenship required.
• Active secret security clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio).
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be available for after-hours on-call and downtime support on a rotational basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain LAN/WAN/WLAN networks and other networks.
• Administer security, integrity, and availability of the network.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security posture.
• Support architecture/engineering with evaluation and testing of network hardware and software.
• Coordinate changes and upgrades to existing networks.
• Create SOPs, maintenance guides, and knowledge-base articles.
• Respond to network issues and close trouble tickets.
