Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead design, implementation, and support of enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure for CONUS operations. This role acts as SME for complex network operations and collaborates with government stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable services across DoD healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate will possess CCNP and CISSP, a DoD Secret clearance, and over 5 years of hands-on experience in large-scale networks.

Qualifications

5+ years of directly related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, Engineering, technical degree or related discipline, and five years of directly related experience.
CCNP and CISSP are required.
Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret clearance.
Experience with enterprise networking technologies and DoD healthcare information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
Serve as the lead Network Engineer and primary escalation point for all LAN, WLAN, and WAN issues.
Monitor network performance and security using tools like SolarWinds Orion, Armis, and Ansible; analyze MIBs and MRTG to improve availability.
Develop and maintain network standards, policies, and documentation; coordinate with government personnel and vendors.
Ensure compliance with DoD policies; communicate network status and recommendations to stakeholders.
