Qualifications

• Six (6)+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• US citizenship is required.
• Active secret security clearance is required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• Must be available for after-hours on-call and downtime support on rotational basis.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to install network equipment and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain LAN, WLAN, WAN, intranets, extranets, and other networks.
• Administer day-to-day network integrity, security, and availability.
• Perform daily performance monitoring and capacity analysis; maintain security posture.
• Assist with evaluation, testing, and recommendations of network hardware/software.
• Coordinate network changes and upgrades.
• Create SOPs, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Perform network maintenance upgrades to ensure security and operations.
• Collaborate with senior staff to complete projects.
• Develop methodology and present solutions to problems.
• Respond to network issues and resolve trouble tickets.
