Job summary

Computer World Services is seeking a highly qualified Senior Network Engineer to provide network sustainment and deployment support services to military hospitals across the Continental United States (CONUS). The role entails acting as the lead technical authority for network operations, focusing on LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructures.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience and an active Secret clearance. Responsibilities include leading complex network resolutions and enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with current supported versions of Microsoft OS, Windows Active Directory, UNIX and OpenVMS.
• Extensive experience with routers, switches, and terminal servers.
• CISSP certification required; CCNP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary CONUS and global SME for LAN/WLAN/WAN operations.
• Lead resolution of complex network issues across all OSI layers.
• Provide advanced configuration, installation, and troubleshooting support.

LAN/WLAN/WAN operations

Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)

Network tools (SolarWinds, Ansible, ARMIS)

DoD Health Care Information Systems experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience

Mastery level in routed and switched LAN environments
