Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support LAN/WAN/WLAN within DoD environments. You will enhance security, configure firewalls and VPNs, and document network changes. The role requires DoD experience, DoD 8570 IAM compliance, and strong vendor product evaluation skills.

The position entails working on DoD network standards, collaborating with the NetMOD team, and occasional travel to supported sites. A TS/Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required for access to DoD networks.
US Citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
Experience with DoD Health Care Information Systems desired.
Extensive knowledge of DoD and DHA network standards and security.

Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN security for DoD environments.
Configure firewalls, VPNs, and IDS; document changes via tickets.
Provide written recommendations for network changes and improvements.
Coordinate with NetMOD Network Standards Team on standards.
Evaluate vendor products for DoD and regional requirements.
Lead or participate in projects; travel to supported sites as needed.
