Amazon is seeking a Network Technician II to join our infrastructure operations team. You will work on stabilizing and scaling next-generation networks, assisting in automation development, and supporting capacity management across data centers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in computer networking
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair

Responsibilities

• Build out first level router-aggregates and console network for new rooms
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnectivity issues
• Travel up to 60% within the work area and possibly internationally
• Support capacity scaling across multiple data centers
• Participate in migration and rollout of new hardware
• Move and lift computer equipment up to 50 lbs
