L.A. Care Health Plan, based in Los Angeles, seeks a Senior Advisor Network Contract Template Governance to oversee contract governance and template management. The role ensures consistency and alignment across all provider agreements.

You will work with program development, marketing, and customer service to drive standardized contracting practices and regulatory compliance, supporting DMHC/DHCS readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in managed care, health plan network management, or provider contracting.
• Experience with provider agreements, amendments, compensation exhibits, and contract templates in a managed care setting.
• Ability to translate complex contractual provisions into clear business requirements.
• Strong governance, process design, and change-management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains integrity and alignment of all provider agreements, amendments, and related documents within a governance framework.
• Manages template ownership, version control, approvals, reviews, and change-management protocols.
• Ensures contracts reflect business strategy, regulatory obligations, and operational capabilities.
• Develops and enforces standards for templates, negotiated deviations, and non-standard terms.
• Leads periodic reviews to simplify templates, reduce variation, and mitigate disputes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure contract operationalization and regulatory compliance.
